You can feed power and ease off the brakes just like you can in a real car. The wonderful part about the XBOX 360 controller are the triggers that can be used for braking and acceleration. I drive so much by feel it's sometimes difficult for me to steer around a corner right. I have to say, trying to drive with a controller has always been difficult for me.
